Hello everyone! After two weeks, I’m back, and better than ever! Well, not really ‘better than ever’, but I’m back to write some more nonsense for you to enjoy. My time away was a much needed break from my computer, but I’m happy to finally be back clacking away on the keyboard.

My first two May weekends have been full of Stuff and Things and Needed Days Off. This past weekend, I decided to take time for myself and really figure out what I want to write about for the next few months. Summertime is always a good time to explore your city (especially if you live where things are always happening, such as Columbus), so I plan on documenting all of the events I go to and writing about them. So, plan on hearing about my Columbus Pride, Comfest, and Food Festival adventures, as well as summer holiday stories as well. Maybe I can learn how to take a decent picture of a firework this year? We shall see.

Every day, I try to write something just to say I’ve written. It can be a sentence or a full blown short story. While I’m gonna try to stick to one or two blog posts a week, I’ll try to explore more of my storytelling side as well. That may mean I post more than just one blog post per week…If I’m lucky enough to get that spark, anyways! If you’ve known me since middle school, you’ll know that I love to write about superheroes and the supernatural around all of us. Expect to see a short story or two in between the goings on in Columbus.

And finally, I will attempt to finish up my Top Albums list as well! I’ve got plenty of albums that I can’t stop listening to even after all the years I’ve been listening, and I want to do a better job at explaining to y’all why I love music so much, so I figured telling you all about my favorite albums would be a good way to do it. I just have to saddle up and write about these albums! Making the Top Albums list has always been something I’ve wanted to see through to the end, so I’m gonna do it!

As for now, I wanted to thank y’all for reading and continuing to come back to my Medium page. Before, I wasn’t sure if people would like to read what I write, but after my two weeks away, I’m realizing that people want to read what I’m thinking. I’ve been asked by my family and friends when I’m going to post my next post, and even though it might sound silly, it truly means a lot that you guys go out of your way to read what I dream up. So, thank you! I would’ve never imagined people would actually read these, so y’know, keep it up! I’ll keep writing if you keep reading!

I want to continue to write stuff that piques y’all’s interest, so if you have any story prompts or topics you’d like me to write about, please let me know! Twitter is a fail-proof way of making sure I’ll see it, so hit me up over there. In the meantime, I plan on looking for some writing prompts or challenges that will get my imagination percolating. This time next week, look for something interesting and new on here! I’m gonna start beefing this page up so that y’all have an excuse to come back :P

I write stories, as well as music, movie, product reviews and monthly wrap-up journals. Basically, if you can think it, I can write about it.
