Forgetfulness

I am always forgetting something. Whether it’s events, people, objects, anything. I forget everything all of the time. Sometimes, I feel frustrated that I forget things.

At the same time, I’m annoyed when people forget stuff around me. I think, “Why can’t they remember what they need to remember? So frustrating!” It’s easy for me to forget that I’m frustrating in the same way.

I try to remember things by writing them down, or repeating them, or telling someone what I need to remember. These tactics work some of the time. Sometimes, if I know I don’t want to lose something I’ll put it in the same place every time I’m done with it. That is a little bit more successful, but it’s hard for me to translate that to my memory.

All of this is to say that while it might be frustrating and annoying to be forgetful, I do my best to remember that it’s okay to forget things sometimes. I try my best, and sometimes the best is all you can give!

Hello everyone! I have been SO busy that I forgot about the blog for the past few weeks! Between driving back and forth to Indiana, Mother’s Day, and my normal daily grind, the blog fell to the back burner.

I am looking forward to writing a review about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom once I get about halfway through it, so look forward to that (spoiler free) review hopefully next week.

In the meantime, feel free to follow me on Twitter for daily Maryisims, and follow me here on Medium to know whenever I remember to post!! Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you here soon with something new!
